Hammer Toe
Hammer toe is rated under Diagnostic Code 5282 when the toe is permanently bent. Separate evaluations for claw foot and hammer toe on the same foot are not allowed. Separate evaluations for hallux rigidus and hammer toe on the same foot are not allowed. If hammer toes are due to an injury, an analogous rating under DC 5284 (foot injuries, other) may be allowed.
