Removal of Uterus and Both Ovaries

Complete removal of the uterus and both ovaries is rated under DC 7617. The veteran receives a temporary 100% rating for three months after the surgery, then drops to 50%. Veterans who have this procedure are entitled to Special Monthly Compensation at the K rate (SMC-K) for loss of a creative organ.
