Removal of Uterus (Hysterectomy)
Removal of the uterus (without both ovaries) is rated under DC 7618. A temporary 100% rating applies for three months after surgery, then drops to 30%. Veterans are entitled to Special Monthly Compensation at the K rate (SMC-K) for loss of a creative organ.
